Carnoustie

Ever played golf in 30 mph winds on a hard as shit British Open golf course? Welcome to Carnoustie. This is a solid golf course but you will shoot 10 shots over your handicap. The best round was an 82 by Craig Musgrove but he'd played the course before so we call a little bullshit on that. BTW, Freddie has really bad gas issues. The real interesting part of the day became the drive from Carnoustie to Gullane. Imagine 8 guys, drinking, 4 cars, driving on the wrong side of the road with 20 roundabouts and confusing street signs. Let's just say that Galvin and Freddie took 5 hours for a 2 hour drive. Actually the cool part of the day was that Sammy and Lassie went back to St. Andrews and Sam's clubs finally arrived. The Old Course folks felt so bad for him that they let them playe 9 holes gratis. Maybe is was the disturbing red pants Sam was wearing, who knows. They claim they both parred 18 so goof for them. All in all, another deluxe day in Scotland. Muirfield is next.
