St. Andrews Castle Course - First Round with All

A lot to catch up on here. On Saturday we played the Castle Course at St. Andrews...first course built on the sacred grounds in over a century. Sam and Lassie still without clubs....Sam and Jack still with no clothes. Obviously Shammy extremely sour. We started the round with 6 players, while Shammy and Lassie stayed in Aberdeen continuing to wait for flights to roll in to see if any bags would show up. Complete donkey show by the airlines as they had no clue where our bags were...Chicago, Dubai, Heathrow....always a different answer, always terrible service.

The Castle Course was a sight to behold...a seaside course with incredible views overlooking the town of St. Andrews. Lassie showed up on the back 9 with bags in hand...Shammy headed to the Old Course Hotel to go on a shopping spree courtesy of British Airways. We're punting on this round counting in the total low net bet. We're taking your best 6 low net rounds out of 8 or 9, depending on how many we play. ...$100/man.

I played with the Haxxxter (86) and Grover (90) and shot an 86. Thanks, Crosbie for the rain pants...weather was pure, but without bags at this point, at least I had something to wear. Consensus was the course was very nice, but the greens were way too tricked up. Every green was a circus green with HUGE undulations. Anyway, we're here...we're finally playing golf and it's time to relax and enjoy!
